About Stephanie

I'm a career, business and leadership coach with global senior experience in the premium fashion industry, supporting people to work, lead and succeed without losing themselves. What drives me most is helping people feel genuinely empowered in their own lives - not just clearer about what they want, but truly convinced they can make it real.

I'm based in Aerdenhout, a short walk from woodland and a short cycle from the beach. I'm half English, half Greek, and spent my early childhood in Greece. I have two young children, who are a constant reminder and motivator to pause, reflect and keep learning and growing, both in how I live and how I work. And everyone who is close to me knows that I like nothing more than a deep, meaningful conversation.

My career in fashion took me across a range of brands, product areas and international environments, and over time into senior leadership roles with global scope. I was part of exciting projects, worked with talented people, and experienced the progression and recognition that I was striving for. I loved much of it – coaching team members and peers, working on business strategy, collaborating with creatives. Working alongside creative teams has been central to my career, giving me a deep understanding of the dynamics and tensions that shape creative industries.

But I also experienced the other side – the pressure, the relentlessly high expectations, the intensity of driving results in high-performing environments. I saw first-hand how this shapes team dynamics and working cultures, and how easily it tips into patterns that impact wellbeing, psychological safety and effectiveness. At times I was on the receiving end of an unhealthy corporate culture. At times I contributed to it. What became increasingly clear to me was that strong results don't have to come at the expense of integrity or wellbeing – in fact, the most effective teams are built on healthy, supportive cultures.

  • It was through leadership coaching that I began to gain perspective and ask questions I hadn't allowed space for before: does it have to feel this difficult? What actually matters to me? What do I want my work and life to look like? What followed was less a single decision and more a six-year process of genuine transformation: reassessing who I was at work and what work means to me, taking responsibility for my mental health and mindset, getting to know myself more honestly, and slowly battling the fears and inner critic that had kept me playing it safe. I reprioritised my life, spent more time with the people who matter, travelled, and gradually built the confidence to choose to do what I actually love. Eventually that led to leaving fashion entirely, to pursue work that felt more aligned with my aptitudes and what I value.

Today I work as a career, business and leadership coach supporting people who want to grow in a way that feels both meaningful and sustainable. I know what it's like to be successful on the outside while quietly questioning whether your work still fits who you are and what you want out of life. I’m particularly passionate about helping people succeed without losing themselves, because I know how easy it is to drift away from what matters and how good it feels to come closer to yourself once again.

The third field approach.

My work is guided by one overarching question: what does it mean to live and work in a way that feels fully alive?

About third field

At third field, I partner with professionals, leaders, business owners and creatives to create meaningful and lasting personal, professional and business growth.

The third field method brings together reflection, curiosity and creativity with structure, analysis and practical tools – the space to think deeply, and the structure and momentum to make things happen.

I believe real growth starts with awareness and honest reflection, understanding what's actually happening before deciding what's next. As a thinking partner, I help you see patterns, explore new possibilities, and turn insight into clear, practical steps. The process is always co-created and fully tailored to you: how you think, how you work, how you best reflect and grow.

I think of my role as having three parts. As a thought facilitator, I offer questions, tools and rich attention, to create a helpful structure for your creative thinking. As your champion, I bring genuine empathy and validation, a judgement-free positive regard, and together we celebrate your progress. As your challenger, I ask the difficult questions, offer opportunities to reframe your thoughts, and hold up a mirror to help deepen your self-reflection.

There is something powerful that happens when people reflect, connect and create together. A shared space where new ways of thinking, working and being become possible. That’s the space we work in: the third field.

  • Dappled light nature

    Creative strategy

    imagining boldly, acting purposefully

Creativity opens up new perspectives and possibilities, helping you see beyond the current reality. Strategy turns those possibilities into meaningful, deliberate action – aligned with your goals and values. Together, they let you explore boldly while moving forward with purpose.

  • Dappled light nature

    Conscious awareness

    seeing clearly, understanding deeply

We start by understanding what's really happening – slowing down enough to notice patterns, assumptions and underlying dynamics, so there's genuine clarity before any forward movement. This requires honest self-reflection, vulnerability and gentle challenge.

  • Dappled light nature

    Intentional alignment

    choosing truthfully, moving intentionally

We focus on what's actually right for you. Not what pressure, habit or expectation dictates, but a deeper sense of coherence between what you value, who you are and the choices you make. Because the right direction is yours to define, not inherit.

  • Dappled light nature

    Courageous agency

    acting with ownership, moving forward

We turn insight into thoughtful action. You move forward with a stronger sense of direction, ownership and trust in your own ability to shape what comes next. You are the architect of your future and the work life that you want to lead.

This work goes deeper than solving what's immediately in front of you. It's a process of developing your capacity to grow. We use tools, frameworks and ways of thinking that create real transformational change, and that give you the ability to navigate the next challenge independently.

The influences of third field coaching

My work draws from a range of established psychological and coaching approaches, allowing me to adapt to the person, context and challenge.

At the core is a simple belief: you are already capable and resourceful. You have the capacity for growth and change, even if that doesn't feel accessible right now. The approaches I draw on include

  • focusing on strengths, wellbeing and the conditions that allow individuals and teams to function at their best

  • creating the conditions of empathy, authenticity and non-judgment that support genuine self-exploration and growth

  • exploring unconscious patterns, internal conflicts and recurring themes that influence behaviour, relationships and leadership

  • building the psychological flexibility to act in line with your values, even in the presence of difficult thoughts, emotions or uncertainty

  • understanding how ego states shape interpersonal dynamics and communication in professional settings

  • drawing on NLP principles to explore the relationship between language, thought and behaviour, and to support shifts in limiting patterns and self-perception

  • recognising the role of the body and nervous system in shaping perception, stress responses and behaviour

  • working with resistance, building momentum and supporting consistent forward movement

FAQs

  • My coaching is grounded in the belief that you already hold more clarity and capability than you realise. My role is to create the space, structure and challenge needed to help you access it.

I combine deep listening and thoughtful questioning with practical thinking and tools. This means we don't just explore ideas; we turn them into clear direction and meaningful action. The focus is always on supporting you to make decisions and move forward in a way that is aligned with your values, your strengths, and the life you want to build. I aim to make you feel able, ready and optimistic about what comes next.

Beyond clarity and direction, the deeper goal is a genuine sense of agency, helping you feel not just clearer about what you want, but truly convinced that you can make it real. I want you to leave each session feeling more empowered, more intentional, and more like yourself. Because to me, real success isn't just professional achievement, it's work and leadership that feels fully alive.

  • What sets third field coaching apart is a combination of my style of work, the combination of disciplines that influence my work, and my professional experience.

third field sits at the intersection of personal development and strategic thinking. It’s not purely mindset-focused, and it’s not purely career, business or leadership strategy, it’s the space where it all comes together. We take the time to properly understand what’s going on beneath the surface, but we also focus on tangible outcomes: clear decisions, direction, and next steps.

Clients often come away not just with insight, but with a way of thinking and working that can carry forward independently. We are working on the challenge at hand and increasing your capacity for the future.

In coaching I balance the intuitive with the practical. We work on mindset, beliefs, identity, and the nervous system, alongside critical thinking, structure, and real world decisions and planning, so that insight turns into meaningful action. I’m just as likely to offer a visioning exercise or tailored meditation, as a mission / vision / values exercise or a SWOT. My approach draws on psychological theory, coaching tools, somatic awareness, and business strategy, allowing us to look at your situation from multiple angles. There is a balance of transformational change and goal-orientation, reflective insight and pragmatism, emergence and structure.

What also sets my work apart is my professional background. I can understand your context within the creative industries as well as in corporate, start-up, and small business environments. I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of launching a business as well as of being in senior roles in corporate.

  • I am an ICF member and a professionally trained coach, having completed a Level 2 (PCC level) coaching programme with Barefoot Coaching UK. Barefoot is a highly regarded and well-established international coach training provider, known for its experiential and psychologically informed coach training. My training included evidence-based coaching methodologies, psychological theories and systems thinking, as well as experiential learning, reflective practice and developmental feedback.

I am currently undertaking a Postgraduate certificate in Coaching with the University of Chester, which focuses on academic research assignments in the field of coaching.

I have also trained as a Mental Health First Aider, strengthening my awareness of mental health and wellbeing in my work.

Alongside this, I hold a Master of Science in International Business from the University of Leeds Business School, which informs the strategic and commercial perspective I bring into my work.

  • The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is a globally recognised professional body for coaches. It sets standards for coaching practice, ethics, and training, and accredits coaches who meet these requirements. Working with an ICF-certified coach means they have completed recognised training and adhere to a professional code of conduct.

  • I spent 15 years working in the global fashion industry, across corporate environments as well as startups, SMEs, and family-run businesses. My career has been highly international, working and collaborating extensively across Europe, the US and Asia. My background is primarily in Product Merchandising at Calvin Klein & Tommy Hilfiger (PVH). I have expertise in and a strong commercial foundation across product architecture, go-to-market strategy and performance analysis, as well as experience in marketing and branding. I have also set up two businesses and worked as a consultant in product strategy.

  • My professional experience mainly acts as a shorthand in our coaching relationship. I can quickly understand your world, so that we can focus on what matters most.

My background means I can understand your context within the creative industries as well as in corporate, start-up, and small business environments. I understand the realities of working in senior roles in complex, fast-paced organisations, as well as the challenges of an entrepreneur or a business owner. I bring a strong commercial lens, combined with an understanding of organisational dynamics, complex decision making, and performance pressures.

In practice, all this allows me to meet you where you are, whether you’re navigating corporate structures, building a business, or managing competing demands, and to help you think both strategically and realistically about your next steps.

  • My coaching approach is informed by psychological theory, coaching theory, somatic awareness theory, and business strategy, allowing me to adapt to the individual, context, and challenge.

The theoretical disciplines that I draw on include humanistic and psychodynamic psychology, positive psychology, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), transactional analysis, and somatic approaches, alongside practical, action-oriented coaching methods.

  • I typically work with mid-career professionals, leaders, business owners, and creatives who are navigating change or looking to grow in their work life in a more intentional way.

Many of my clients are at a point where something no longer feels quite right or they have a clear idea of what they want next but need support to make it real and move forward with confidence.

The main topics we work on are making intentional, aligned career choices, turning creative vision into a clear, structured and sustainable business, leading with integrity and managing healthy high performing teams.

  • third field represents the space between where you are now and where you want to be.

It’s not your current reality, and it’s not a fixed end point; it’s the space where new thinking, new perspectives, and new possibilities emerge. It’s where you step outside of existing expectations and assumptions to explore what’s right for you.

third field also represents the space between me and you, the thinking space we create together. A space that is separate from your day-to-day, where you can slow down, reflect, challenge your thinking, and move forward with greater clarity, intention and empowerment.

  • Lasting transformational change in coaching happens when you go beyond surface goals and shift how a person thinks, sees themselves, and acts. We begin by building a foundation of trust and safety, allowing for emotional honesty and vulnerability, so we can truly understand what matters, what’s getting in the way, and what needs to shift. This involves raising self-awareness, helping you clearly see patterns, assumptions, and underlying dynamics, while also challenging core beliefs and separating what’s genuinely yours from what may be shaped by external expectations.

From there, we focus on alignment and intentionality, connecting your decisions to your values and what is right for you, rather than pressure or habit. Alongside this, we strengthen your sense of agency, the belief that you are capable of change, can choose the beliefs you operate from, and can build the identity needed to support the life and work you want.

With that foundation, we define a clear direction and translate insight into practical action, considering your resources, potential obstacles, and creating accountability. The focus is not only on what you do, but how you think, decide, and show up, ensuring the change is both meaningful and sustainable over time.
