Leadership coaching for founders, leaders & senior professionals

Conscious leadership coaching for self–awareness, integrity and sustainable high performance in Amsterdam, Haarlem & online.

Helping leaders in creative and design–led industries build and manage high–performing teams in a way that feels close to who truly are, while promoting healthy working cultures.
As a leadership coach I work with leaders and senior professionals in creative, design-led environments – where innovation and creativity are essential but often come with pressure, ambiguity and high expectations.

Having spent over a decade in corporate fashion, I understand the unique challenges of leading in creative environments: balancing creative freedom with structure, protecting creative energy while delivering results, and navigating fast pace and constant change.

Leadership can be an isolating place, high expectations, high stakes decisions, and the constant challenge of bringing out the best in others while managing your own impact and development. This is a space to understand what's really happening in your role and your relationships, and make clearer, more intentional decisions about how you lead.

How leadership coaching works

Leadership coaching is a reflective and practical process that helps you lead with greater self–awareness and confidence. We explore your leadership challenges, strengthen your awareness of yourself and your interactions with others, and translate this into more effective ways of bringing out the best in you and your team.

My focus is on helping leaders lead with intention and create team cultures where creativity and performance can genuinely coexist – without defaulting to reactivity or unhealthy patterns. Because when creative teams feel safe, supported and inspired, they don't just perform, they thrive. The result is high–performing, resilient teams, and leadership that feels effective, sustainable and fulfilling.

Who is this for?

At third field I offer leadership coaching to founders, leaders and senior professionals, with a specialisation in design-led businesses and creative industries.

This work is for leaders who want to lead effectively while staying true to what they value, building strong results alongside healthy, high-performing teams

This is for you if you:

  • Value integrity and healthy team cultures as the foundation for strong, sustainable performance

  • Are navigating increasing responsibility, complexity or visibility in your role

  • Want to develop a leadership style that feels authentic and sustainable

  • Are leading creative or multidisciplinary teams and want to balance structure, performance and creative freedom

  • Care about building strong team cultures, not just delivering results

  • Want to lead others effectively while continuing to develop yourself

This is also for founders and creatives who are stepping into leadership for the first time through building a team, and want to define how they lead, often for the first time.

Where you might be right now

Leadership brings a level of complexity that goes far beyond technical skill or experience. You’re navigating increasing pressure, responsibility and visibility, while making decisions that affect not only your own work, but the direction, performance and wellbeing of others. At times, you may feel the weight of that responsibility and want to approach leadership in a more intentional and sustainable way.

Perhaps you’re delivering results externally while quietly questioning whether your leadership style truly reflects your values. You may be navigating ambiguity, change or high expectations without always feeling clear on the best way forward, or struggling to balance performance with supporting and developing the people around you. Managing team dynamics, communication and relationships can become increasingly complex, particularly as your role expands across strategic, operational and people leadership.

For those leading creative teams, there is often another layer to navigate. Balancing creative freedom with structure, protecting creative energy while still meeting deadlines, and managing different ways of thinking and working within one team can create a unique kind of pressure.

If you’re a founder or creative stepping into leadership for the first time, the transition itself can feel difficult to define. Moving from doing the work yourself to leading others often requires a completely different mindset, and without a clear model of leadership that feels natural or authentic to you, it can feel uncomfortable, uncertain or overwhelming.

What you will gain

Working together, the focus is on helping you develop a more conscious, intentional approach to leadership, one that supports both your effectiveness and your sense of self.

You'll gain a deeper understanding of how you lead, what drives your behaviour and decisions, and how this impacts the people around you. Greater awareness can change not just how you lead, but how it feels to lead.

Leadership coaching supports you to:

  • Clarify your leadership style and how you want to show up

  • Lead without feeling reactive or overwhelmed

  • Develop greater self-awareness in how you think, communicate and make decisions

  • Navigate complexity, pressure and change with more confidence

  • Strengthen your ability to lead and develop others, not just manage outcomes

  • Build healthier, more effective team dynamics, driving stronger engagement, retention and job satisfaction

  • Make decisions with greater intention, rather than reacting to what's in front of you

Most importantly, you'll develop a way of leading that feels both effective and sustainable – grounded in integrity and resulting in greater impact and fulfilment. An environment where people can do their best work, and high-performing teams can truly thrive.

Wherever you are, the focus is the same: understand what’s happening, align with what matters to you, and take clear, intentional action, so you can design and build a way of working and living that feels fully alive and fulfilling. Here’s what past clients had to say…

FAQs

  • Conscious leadership coaching is a structured process of reflection that helps you become more aware of how you think, decide and show up as a leader, so you can lead more intentionally and effectively.

It focuses on understanding not just what you do as a leader, but why you do it, including your patterns, assumptions, values and the impact you have on others. From there, the work is about making more deliberate choices in how you lead, communicate and respond to challenges.

In practice, this means developing the ability to:

lead with integrity and in a way that aligns with your values

lead for high performance as well as team wellbeing

    navigate complexity without reacting impulsively

communicate effectively with team and stakeholders

  • Leadership coaching at third field is for leaders, senior professionals and business owners who want to lead with greater self-awareness, integrity and a positive impact on people and performance. My specialisation includes clients transitioning from being creatives and founders to having leadership roles.

Many clients come to leadership coaching at a point where they are navigating increasing complexity, pressure or responsibility in their leadership role, and want space to think clearly, gain perspective and respond thoughtfully. Others are stepping into leadership roles for the first time and want to build confidence and capability in how they lead.

I work both with leaders in corporate environments and business owners of small and medium enterprises.

  • You may benefit from leadership coaching if you’re new to leadership, or feel stretched in your leadership role, unsure how to handle certain situations, or you simply want to lead more effectively.

    Common signs include:
Feeling under pressure or overwhelmed by responsibility
Struggling with challenging decisions, conversations or team dynamics
Questioning your leadership style or how you show up
Wanting to grow into a more senior role with confidence

Leadership coaching creates the space to see your leadership more clearly: what's working, what isn't, and what kind of leader you actually want to be.

  • Leadership coaching helps you lead with greater self-awareness, confidence, intention and a higher resilience to pressure and complexity.

    You can expect:

A clear idea of your leadership style and your impact on others
Greater confidence in complex situations and decision-making
    Improved communication and relationship management
A leadership style that feels more aligned and sustainable

Many clients also experience a stronger sense of control and perspective in their role, even in demanding environments, as well as a sense of agency and fulfilment in creating a healthy working environment for their team.

  • Most clients notice immediate shifts in how they see and approach situations, while deeper and more lasting change develops over time as new ways of thinking and leading become embedded in every day work life. Coaching packages create the space to reflect, experiment and integrate these changes at a pace that is sustainable.

  • We start our coaching relationship with setting out an initial trajectory based on your goals or the challenges you are facing. At the start of each session, we check whether to follow that trajectory or focus on what is most relevant in your role at that moment.

Through questioning and reflective tools, we clarify your thinking, explore different ways of approaching a situation, and identify what matters most. From there, we define concrete actions or shifts in how you approach your leadership.

Each session is tailored to your context but always aims to help you lead more effectively in practice.

  • Leadership coaching is a client-led process focused on strengthening your ability to think, decide and lead effectively in your own context. Mentoring involves guidance based on someone else's experience. Consulting involves providing solutions or recommendations to specific organisational challenges. Coaching develops your capacity to lead; it doesn't prescribe how you should lead.

  • I work with leaders and senior professionals across a range of industries, with a particular focus on creative and design-led companies.

My background in the fashion industry and in corporate means I understand the realities of working in fast-paced, complex organisations with high expectations and constant change. I’ve also witnessed firsthand the unique challenges of leading teams in creative environments: balancing creative freedom with structure, protecting creative energy while delivering results.

That said, the core themes we work on – leadership self-awareness, resilience, leading with integrity and healthy high-performance cultures – are relevant across many industries.

  • Yes, leadership coaching is particularly valuable when stepping into a leadership role for the first time.

Moving from an individual contributor role into leadership brings a shift in responsibility, expectations and how you operate. Coaching helps you navigate that transition, build confidence, and develop your own leadership style.

We focus on understanding what you need to take the next step, how to lead others with integrity and impact, and how to grow into the role in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

  • Yes, leadership coaching is highly relevant if you are dealing with challenges within your organisation.

This could include navigating difficult relationships, managing team dynamics, handling pressure from senior stakeholders, or making complex decisions under challenging contexts.

Leadership coaching helps you gain perspective from the situation, see it more clearly, and respond in a way that is thoughtful, effective and aligned with your values as a leader.

  • Yes. Alongside my work with individual clients, I work with organisations who want to invest in the career and leadership development of their people.

This can include 1:1 coaching for leaders, managers or senior employees, whether as part of a broader development programme, to support someone stepping into a new role, or to help employees take a more intentional and proactive approach to their career progression and internal mobility.

If you're an organisation interested in exploring this, get in touch and we can discuss what would work best for your context and team.
